I feel like I was just wishing everyone a happy spring but alas, Happy Summer! It was a hot one here in Greensboro, NC. The high was 90 and for all you west coasters that was on top of our like 90% humidity. Have I mentioned that I can't wait o move WEST! Anyhoo, the four of us had a great time visiting the booths and just enjoying the peaceful serenity that these solstice's bring. Troy rode in his Kelty backpack, ate veggie chips and pointed at all of the doggies. Kay was torn about what to have her face painted as. She went with Queen A-Nu-Ruh. J.T. and I were just happy to be out experiencing all that our city has to offer and showing our kids the meaning of diversity, fun, acceptance, beliefs, talent, and hardwork. Here are some shots. The 10th annual Solstice was held at Lindley Park.
