trader joe's

Tired of the mundane Harris Teeter and Food Lion trips I wanted to venture to a smaller space with decent prices.  Greensboro had the chance to put in a Trader Joe's but instead opted for a Fresh Market. Meh. I do love the Fresh Market but I  feel for the vibe of this city a place like TJ's would have been a perfect fit. The mum's and I headed to Trader Joe's in Winstion Salem. I love their produce prices and all the different choices of food and beverages they have plus if you find Leo the Lion you get a sucker!

asheboro zoo for my 29th

we always stop in and take pictures with these elephants before we get into the actual park

my mom is a Delta so gets pretty excited when she finds an elephant with right foot forward/trunk up.

his hair curls matched the honeycomb

this was the  only way we could get him to walk in the same direction we were going!

i tend to forget how big his ears are!
