jumping on the blogging bandwagon

I am not quite sure why when my family is always living paycheck to paycheck that I am taking valuable time away from my stay at home job to blog which won't earn me any money. Actually I think I know why. Because it seems like fun! I could be wrong but I think that writing about our daily successes and failures good tries and missed attempts, rad times and bad times; Well I think that I will stumble upon what my mind is constantly searching for. A state of contentment. A sense of peace in all this chaos. A hope that everything will be alright and that it is all really "just small stuff." I'm going to misspell words and have grammar errors. I'm going to bore people to tears and speak to some on a level of deep understanding. I'm going to compare myself and my life and my kids to all these other bloggers out there with their cool clothes and designer decorated homes but in the end I hope I find our silver lining as a family. I'm certain I'll remind myself that "it's no big deal" a lot and that we are so very fortunate to be alive and well even if I don't have GapKids sending me free products, Land of Nod decorating Kayleigh and Troy's rooms or Martha Stewart Living asking to shoot photos of our family room and backyard.  I will experience self discovery on a level that will probably make me uncomfortable and then also on a level that is is extremely gratifying. I've got a husband and kids who adore me and a family who always shows up. Cliches are abounding but life really is good. Here's to a future of endless exploration and possibilities.

Cheers,
LB
